Joohoney (MONSTA X) suspends his career because of his anxiety

Joohoney is going to have to suspend his activities.

This January 12, Starship Entertainment has indeed announced that the member of MONSTA X suffered from anxiety problems.

In its press release, the agency wrote:

"Hello. It's Starship Entertainment.

This is an announcement regarding the health of Joohoney from MONSTA X.

Joohoney recently consulted with multiple professional medical institutions for an accurate diagnosis of his anxiety symptoms. The results of the examination revealed that because of this anxiety, stability and adequate rest were necessary for him to fully recover.

We had long discussions with Joohoney and the members of MONSTA X, and we decided to temporarily suspend his activities so that his health improves. We promise to do our best to give him all the support necessary for his recovery.

Joohoney's return will depend on the status of his recovery and the advice of professionals, which will also be conducted after consultation with Joohoney and the other members of MONSTA X.
